Eligibility Requirements
- Students need to be of Portuguese descent and living in the state of Florida.
- Applicant or his/her parent(s) must be an active member of the Portuguese American Cultural Center or other Portuguese Cultural Organizations in the state of Florida.
- Attendance at any accredited undergraduate college or university.
- Scholarships will be granted to any accredited educational institution up to a maximum of four years per recipient.
Award
Scholarships will be awarded for one academic year of undergraduate education. Recipients can re-apply for subsequent years, up to a maximum of four years.
Selection Criteria
Awards will be made on the basis of: Portuguese and other community involvement, scholastic activities, academic record, personal character, and activities that excel in leadership. If you are selected for an award, you must available to attend a brief award ceremony in Palm Coast, FL on March 24, 2024.
Unfortunately, due to the number of applicants, we cannot guarantee awards to all applicants.
